EVOLUTION SL 

The EVOLUTION SL Language Laboratory is controlled by the teacher through a computer on which a dedicated system control software is loaded.

EVOLUTION SL Master Console 

 

Master Console is integrated with the EVOLUTION Master Unit, to which all the other lab units and the Audio and Video program sources are connected. This small unit can be integrated –or not - inside the master console furniture.

In the Audio-Active version, each student has at her/his disposal a STEREO Audio Amplifier. This Amplifier has a sealed keyboard on which the digital volume controls for the separated volume control of the “Student channel” and of the “Master Channel” are placed, together with several others keys for the teacher call, for the MULTIPLE CHOICE TEST participation etc. Besides, several very useful light indicators are placed on this keyboard as well.

The teacher and the students have at their disposal a professional headset.

 

This system offers all the “typical” and “classic” functions of the top performances language laboratories plus dozens of other unique, innovative extremely useful functions, like for example:

  • possibility to divide the class in 6 groups,
  • distribution of 4 audio programs in the meantime to 4 groups of students working in Audio-Active mode,
  • 4 contemporaneous CONFERENCE groups,
  • 4 contemporaneous, separated, INTERPRETING groups,
  • "conference room" function,
  • 4 contemporaneous Audio-Active groups,
  • 4 contemporaneous Audio-Active-Comparative groups,
  • 2 FREE groups,
  • MULTIPLE CHOICE TEST possibility,
  • enable the PAIRING function,
  • enable the “Headset splitting”,
  • enable the STEREO function,
  • possibility for the teacher to discretely monitor a student activity, to talk to single students, groups, class, to enable a student to be “model” for other students / groups / class etc.

 

Upon request, this system can be supplied with professional Language Cassette Recorders and in this case it offers the possibility to have 4 groups working in the meantime in Audio-Active-Comparative mode.
