Audio Accessories manufacture a total range of high quality fixed and wired patchbays for the professional audio and video broadcast and recording industries. As well as the standard range of mini and long frame panels AA produce custom panels for specific requirements and offer a full range of patchbay accessories.

The next generation of Shorti Patchbays has arrived; this 2x48 audio patchbay is wired to DB25 connectors. This unit features exceptional flexibility with the Audio Accessories, Inc. exclusive Quick-Switch normalling system located on the rear of the panel. The Quick-Switch normalling allows you to set the individual normals on a per jack pair basis. This enables you to full-normal (FN), half-normal (HN) or non-normal (NN) by sliding the switches into the appropriate position. You also have grounding options: isolated, bussed, or grounds vertically strapped (GVS).

Available in 6, 12 or 25ft lengths. All 8-pair cable is analog, individually jacketed and shielded, oxygen free and flexible. All DB25 connectors are heavy duty gold pins; all XLR’s and 297 plugs are Neutrik.

Long frame Maxi patch Jacks and Panels

Audio Accessories, Inc., manufactures a standard line of audio 1/4” Long-Frame MAXI jacks and panels—for many years, the industry standard. By manufacturing at our own factory here in Marlow, we can guarantee the same exacting specifications our customers have relied on for more than 50 years. Each panel is machined in-house and each jack is hand-adjusted and inspected to ensure years of fail-proof patching.

Mini Bantam panel and Jacks

Since 1980, our MINI (Bantam/TT) jacks and panels have become our most popular audio patchbays. With capacity for 48 or 52 jacks per row, they make it possible to incorporate more patching into each rack—particularly important in mobile units where space is at a premium. Remember, our audio jacks and panels are manufactured start to finish right here in Marlow, NH, USA, where time stands still and the moose run free!

MINI 1.5RU

This 1.5RU (2.6") panel lets you have a 4-line designation strip for your labeling, without having to give up two rack-units of space. Note: if you stack two of these units together, you use a three rack-unit space. All of the jack row spacings shown above are available in this size.

MINI 2RU

This is a standard end drawing of a 2RU (3-1/2") panel. All of the jack row spacings shown above are available in this size.

Pre wired Audio Patchbays

If labour costs are at a premium AA can manufacture pre wired patch bays with tails to interface to your rack systems. Long frame or bantam panels in Maxi or Mini format can be terminated and wired to Krone, QCP, EDAC, or AMP connectors for easy connection to existing gear. Normalling can be fixed or brought out as required.

Video Patchbays

AA can accommodate all of your video patching needs with a selection of video panels and jacks. If the application requires a different panel layout or configuration, AA technicians will work with your design to produce a panel that fits your application. We supply Canare, Kings, or Trompeter video jacks with our panels and a range of patch cords are available.

Audio Patch Cords

Audio-line patch cords are specially made to our specifications. The cords feature a woven DuPont nylon outer braid over a closely woven copper shield. All cords are reinforced six inches back from each plug end for extra strength. The inner two conductors are #20 stranded copper wire. We offer four colors: red, black, gray, and green, in 1/4” Long-Frame and .172” MINI.

Patch Cord Holders
These solid and durable patch cord holders are available for Audio 1/4” Long-Frame and MINI, and Video Patch Cords. They will hold up to 50 patch cords each, tilted at a convenient angle for easy access.

Rubber-Jacket Patch Cords
These cost-effective patch cords have nickel-plated plugs and are available for both 1/4” Long-Frame and .172” MINI.

Polysand
Polysand is the quick and easy way to remove tarnish and oxide from brass audio plugs without removing the metal. Easily outperforms chemicals and harsh abrasives, in a fraction of the time. Available in single sheets and in packages of 10.
