EAV Technology can provide your University a simple way to transcribe lectures, or even send the audio to a remote Internet podcasting point.
The system we have supplied to Universities here in Victoria and Tasmania includes the following.
1 x Shure body pack radio microphone system
1 x Shure Omnidirectional microphone
1 x Zephyr line isolating unit BT-A7RLC
With the lecturer wearing the Sure radio microphone, audio is fed into the Zephyr unit. The Zepher connects to a standard telephone line. The transcriber dials that line from any location and listens to the audio coming from the radio microphone.
